Use a multi-purpose or midrange disc when just starting out.
Try to mimic the act of “whipping a towel” when throwing the disc. Then work on keeping your arm/elbow level for flatter/farther throws.
Always use a grip that’s comfortable for you!
Have fun always!
Most Memorable Moment
Winning my first PRO event. It was at 3 different courses over 2 days and I had to make a big comeback. I was sitting in 4th by round 2. With only 3 rounds in the tournament, I made a huge push and ended up winning by 3 strokes! I was behind by 4! For that to be my first Pro win ever is something I’ll never forget. Never give up ’cause it’s not over till that last putt settles.
Disc Golf Career Goals
Plan to run ladies tournaments in my state and promote more to the youth. I would love to win a Major and NT event. Either USWDGC or Pro Worlds is a big dream of mine.
In The Bag
Drivers
Westside Discs Tournament Hatchet
My go-to driver. When I don't know but I need a fair lie, I trust my Hatchet. Hyzerflip understable love.
Westside Discs Tournament Destiny
I use this disc for the extra understable distance. I love the "S" flight.
Westside Discs Tournament Underworld
For my anhyzer shots. All the holes where I would use a sidearm or flick, I pull out an Underworld...and backhand it to the basket.
Latitude 64 Opto Havoc
Helps me fight the wind and has a reliable hyzer finish and gives great distance.
Latitude 64 Opto River
For less severe holes that again call for forehand/sidearm flick.
Midrange
Westside Discs VIP Warship
I use my Warship for all my midrange distance shots and for holes that are "tweener' range. It holds any line with a slight anhyzer glide. Just like I love it.
Dynamic Discs Lucid Truth
For the windy conditions, just like it's appropriately named, it flies true to the line you put it on.
Putters
Westside Discs BT Hard Shield
Perfect for the short midrange distance putts. I love the lip and rim of this disc.
Westside Discs Origio Burst Maiden
Great off the tee putter. I like to use for longer distance putts and jump putts.
