Nikko Locastro - St. Louis, Missouri

PDGA #: 11534
Home Course: Carrollton Park / Endicott Park
Bag: Her name is Linda.
Favorite Course: The course of life, every course has its own vibe. My personal favorite is Endicott Park because I grew up around the neighborhood and have played here the most times. My uncle also designed the course and also played there before baskets were made. I also play this course with my brother Jeremiah so just a lot of memories.
Favorite Disc: Westside Discs Fortress

Beginner Tip

Never give up. Keep trying to learn and relearn. Try new things and practice in a field by yourself. Learning your bag is the most important part of disc golf. It takes confidence to succeed at anything. Build your confidence by practicing in a field and learning exactly when your discs cut left or right so you know how they will react come game time. Learn to enjoy every part of disc golf. It’s taken me a long time to truly get that part. Mistakes happen in life and they are going to happen on the course if we like it or not. The only way to fail is to give up. I don’t believe in failure. I believe in learning what not to do. Sometimes we only learn how to make things better through trial and error. It’s the nature of the beast. Always think that something good is about to happen on the course and it’s more likely to happen. Head up, march forward. There is a long journey ahead.

In The Bag

Drivers

Dynamic Discs Lucid Defender

Long range with stable finish. My most used driver for now.

Latitude 64 Opto Gladiator

Distance control and neutral flight for a distance driver.

Westside Discs VIP War Horse

Consistent overstable finish.

Dynamic Discs Lucid Enforcer

More distance with over stable finish.

Westside Discs VIP World

Long range distance with flat to understable finish. Works for rollers and sidearm game. Not too overstable.

Westside Discs VIP Ahti

Overstable fairway driver both side arm and backhand. My most overstable fairway disc.

Westside Discs Tournament-X Fortress

Great for a little more distance than the Ahti with consistent overstable finish.

Westside Discs Tournament-X Longbowman

Straight flying fairway driver. More of a backhand disc for me. These three discs complement each other great with a notch or two between each one.

Midrange

Westside Discs BT Hybrid Anvil

Upshots with overstable finish. Works for flex shots and great lip for catching the ground without extra skips. My main midrange for now.

Westside Discs Tournament-X Gatekeeper

Thin profile, good distance for midrang, and neutral stability.

Westside Discs VIP Bard

Consistent mid. More deep dish than my others. Further flying Sinus with slightly stable finish

Dynamic Discs Lucid EMAC Truth

Great glide for a midrange and can be thrown on many angles with control grip or power grip. Keep a couple in the bag for slight angle changes.

Putters

Latitude 64 Zero Hard Sinus

Main upshot putter, flat top, and love the way it bites the ground. I can throw with hyzer, flat, or turnover out of my hand. Great control.

Westside Discs BT Medium Crown

My hyzerflip putter and driving upshot thrower. Sometimes used for putting.
