Beginner TipIt sounds cliche’, but start slow. Learn how to throw putters and mids first, and slowly add more speed as you get more comfortable. Learning how to play and throwing 14 speed discs is like getting your driver’s license and driving a Ferrari.. not a good idea.
Most Memorable MomentMy most memorable disc golf moment was a come-from-behind win in a doubles tournament, with my daughter when she was 14. Both of our partners had to cancel the week of the tournament, so we decided to partner up. We started out down by 3 after the first round but managed to cut that down to 2 going into the final round. When it was all said and done, we won by 2. It was pretty epic!
Disc Golf Career GoalsMy career goals are pretty simple:
-Never stop improving.
-Leave the sport better than I found it.
-Win a Major.
