Beginner Tip

Find ONE midrange or lower speed driver that you LOVE…and practice, practice, practice with it! Play single disc rounds. Throw that mold on as many lines and angles as you can, learning all of the different things it can and can’t do. Try different weights and plastic types in that mold and see how they fly differently. Then add new molds slowly, one at a time, from that center disc in different stabilities and speeds.

Most Memorable Moment

Completion and Grand Opening of Deer Run DGC in Nashville, Indiana. Deer Run was my first course design, and I poured my life into it for almost a year. We celebrated its opening in April 2016 with the Dynamic Discs RV, two Team DD pros, local officials, and 80 golfers. That day was a mixture of pure joy, exhaustion, pride, and relief!

In The Bag

Drivers

Westside Discs VIP War Horse

Strong headwinds, skip shots, and hard finishes.

Latitude 64 Hybrid Gladiator

Very overstable driver that I can trust to always finish hard left while still getting some good distance.

Latitude 64 Recycled Gladiator

Straight to overstable distance and force over backhand flex shots.

Westside Discs Moonshine World

Straighter distance shots with decent finish and some skip at the end.

Westside Discs VIP World

Very straight reliable distance driver.

Westside Discs Tournament World

Maximum distance with some turn before finishing back left. The longest disc in my bag.

Westside Discs VIP Ahti

Forehands off the tee and forehand upshots, forehand rollers, backhands in headwind, backhand spike hyzers, overhands. This is probably the most used disc in my bag other than my putting putters.

Westside Discs Tournament Ahti

Well seasoned fairway for slightly straighter backhand drives with a hard finish.

Latitude 64 Gold Spark

Slow straight fairway driver with a reliable finish.

Latitude 64 Reprocessed Spark

Slow fairway driver with a tiny bit of turn before a reliable finish.

Dynamic Discs Lucid Thief

Hyzerflip to straight fairway at low power, hyzerflip to smooth turnover at higher power.

Midrange

Westside Discs Tournament X-Blend Burst Anvil

Board flat and extremely overstable midrange for short forehand upshots and backhand skip shots.

Westside Discs VIP Pine

Go-to midrange that can handle a lot of power and flies extremely straight with forward penetrating fade. Also used for touch forehands that I need to finish straight. Usually bagging 2 to 3 of these in different stages of wear.

Latitude 64 First Run 2K Opto-G Gobi

Extremely straight and glidey midrange that can handle some power and has very little left or right movement.

Latitude 64 2K Opto-G Gobi

Well seasoned midrange that very smoothly and slowly turns to the right for the entire flight with no signs of fading back.

Putters

Westside Discs Tournament Harp

Overstable driving putter that handles tons of power and still fights hard to the left.

Westside Discs BT Soft Harp

Backhand upshots and touch forehands with little or no ground action.

Westside Discs Tournament Shield

Slightly overstable driving putter that can handle power and go very straight with little to no fade.

Westside Discs BT Soft Shield

Touch driving putter and upshot disc that will finish straight to slightly left.

Extremely straight throwing and putting putter. Great for standstill backhands.
